Very high quality, excellent price!Modern Blue Argonaut
This was an amazing bargain on clearance for $17! You can hardly buy a pyrex casserole dish for this price. The ribbon handles are very beautiful, and this looks like it came from a high end hand made pottery store. You could expect to pay $50-$100 for an item like this. It's made in Japan, and can be used in the oven or microwave, and washed in the dishwasher. Unlike most casserole dishes I was surprised at the inner lip on this dish. I assume it's to help prevent spilling if this should contain soup. That would make it also harder to clean. The blue is very beautiful and consistent in color. The finish is very fine, almost like satin. I would highly recommend this. If you wanted it to make lasagna you will have to instead make lasagana casserole with bite size noodles. I have uploaded some pictures to help you understand what this dish looks like. It does not come retail packaged, it's just in a plain brown box so you would have to repackage it if it was for a gift.

I thought this was a dish that I could use on the stovetop, it is not. Please be aware if you are looking for something to use on the stovetop this will not serve your purpose.
